What counts as a source-video hour?
The total duration of the new videos you upload and process during your monthly billing period.
When does a clip count toward my allowance?
A finished clip counts the first time you create a successful full-quality downloadable version — your first export. Editing and previews never count.
Are previews free?
Yes. Previewing and editing in the clip editor don’t use your finished-clip allowance.
What happens if a render fails?
A failed export doesn’t count. Only a successful full-quality version counts toward your allowance.
Can I download the same clip again?
Yes — re-downloading a finished version you’ve already created doesn’t count again.
How many revisions are included?
Each finished clip includes three full-quality revisions after the first export. A fourth additional revision uses another clip from your monthly allowance.
Does a substantially different cut count as a new clip?
Yes. Revisions are for refining the same clip. A substantially different cut, or a duplicated alternative you keep alongside the original, counts as a new finished clip.
Is localization included?
No. Localization is a separate service with its own pricing and is never deducted from your clipping plan’s finished-clip allowance.
How does storage work?
Storage is a persistent capacity allowance (250 GB, 500 GB or 1 TB), not a monthly upload limit. Because file sizes vary a lot by resolution and bitrate, we show it in GB/TB rather than hours. Additional storage is available — talk to us.
